“My Baptism was amazing! I felt that the Lord had really wanted me to do it and I could sense His presence throughout it all. I had a few nerves on the day but they soon went when the reality on being baptised set in. I hadn’t been brought up in a Christian family however on being sent to Sunday school I learnt of the wonderful love that the Lord has for all of us. It was last summer that I considered baptism and I was so excited and determined to do it that I told my family soon after. They were delighted, and their support, as well as my friends, was a big encouragement for me. The whole process was very emotional and moving, I’m so glad that I was baptised because it was a brilliant experience”!
“I was so nervous before the baptism started, but after it had got underway then
I knew it would be fine. Eric asked me a few questions and we sang a few songs during
the service, which made it really special. I found the sermon very moving and I learnt
a lot from it. I'm really glad that I was baptised with Rachel and Sarah, it was
very emotional. But the thing that made it even more special was when Richard stood
up and said that he wanted to be baptised also. It was amazing and very encouraging
to my faith. It definitely helped me in my walk with the Lord”.
We would like to thank everyone for your kind cards, presents and prayers for us on our baptism, we feel blessed to have so many friends in the church. We were delighted that so many of you were able to share with us that incredible occasion!
